Sonic Syndicate sind nach einer ruhigen Phase endlich zurück. Die erfolgreiche schwedische Band, welche im 2005 von Robin Sjunnesson, welcher damals gerade mal 16 Jahre alt war, gegründet wurde, hat sich nach einem Wechsel des Record Labels dazu entschieden, musikalisch in eine leicht andere Richtung zu gehen. Mit diesem kleinen Neustart der Band kommt aber ein grosser Motivatonsschub, so sind sie mit dem neusten Stück zu 100% zufrieden:
“CONFESSIONS is the album we were destined to record. Everything has been leading up to this moment – all the good all the bad. We’re dropping any pretension, stereotypes and expectations and we’re left with honesty, creativity and love for music by a band that is not afraid of anything. Finally we can stand up and say we have our own sound. I think this album is going to open some doors and slam others, make waves and make noise. But the most important thing is it’s from the heart and every lyric has a message – be the change you want to see in the world. We’ve taken a chance here and nothing has ever felt so right. These are our confessions.”
